Welcome the Honored Dead, Stand in Silence for Peace. Dia de los Muertos costumes encouraged.
On Friday, November 1, 2013, the Weekly Vigil will be followed by a walk (or drive) to the Guerneville Cemetery to clean up the grave sites and "Wake the Dead" with a picnic lunch.
Bring Your Bag Lunch, work gloves, trash bags, pruning shears, small rakes - we will pick up trash along the walk to the Pioneer Cemetery & Redwood Memorial Gardens.
Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome to join us.
The People In Black (formerly the Women In Black) of Guerneville hold a vigil for Peace on Fridays at Noon at the Fountain in Guerneville. Rain or Shine, the People in Black stand in solidarity with non-violent protests worldwide. Any one is welcome to join them on Fridays to wave, smile and broadcast peace.
